How to Create a WordPress Order Form [4 Simple Steps]

Step 2: Create an Order Form

Once the license key is activated, we need to create a new form. For this, head over to WPForms >> Add a new page. Then select the billing/order form.

You can also modify these form items however you want. The part you definitely need to modify is your item list.

To do this, click on the ‘Available Items’ field to edit it and your editing tool will appear on the left-hand side.

Step 3: Configure the Notification of Your Order Form

The next step is to configure the notification settings of your order form. For this, click on Settings » Notifications.

  • Your company name
  • Your email
  • Message (which includes their order form)

By default, completed order forms will be emailed to the admin address of your website. If you want to change this email address, simply type the new email address in the ‘Send To Email Address’ box.

You can also enter multiple email addresses, just by separating them with a comma.

Next, you’ll want to customize the ‘Send To Email Address’ to be your customer’s email account. For this, Delete {admin_email} from this box and click the ‘Show Smart Tags’ and then, select the ‘Email’ field.

Once you’ve finished configuring the notification settings, click on the ‘Save’ button at the top of the screen.

Step 3: Configure the Notification of Your Order Form

After configuring notification settings, it’s time to set up your form’s confirmation message.

To do this, head over to Settings » Confirmation in your form’s editor. Next, select the type of confirmation you would like to create. For example, I’ll select the Message.

Step 4: Add and Publish Order Form

The next and final step is to add your order form to your WordPress website.

For this, go to Page >>Add New to create a new page.

Now, name the page as anything you want and add the order form text to it.

Click Add Block (+) icon and type WPForms in the search bar and select it. Or click on add forms and select your Billing/Order Form for in case of the Classic editor.
